RevolutionPly® Monogram Boxes – Part II

We measured and cut the pieces needed to make our RevolutionPly® monogram boxes.  After lightly sanding the edges to remove any splinters, the pieces were glued and then nailed together to form a shadow box.

Stain was applied to the outside of the boxes and removed with a soft cloth.  Once dry, the edges were painted to accent the frame of the box.  Adhesive initials were then applied on the face of the box.  The final steps were to apply a coat of polyurethane for added protection and gloss, and to tie ribbons around the outside to give the appearance of a gift.
