RevolutionPly® Decorative Birdhouses – Part IV

In decorating our first RevolutionPly® and RevBead® Reversible Plywood Beadboard birdhouse, we painted the birdhouse a dark green and the base and roof brown. Sticks were cut and glued to the roof to give it an appearance of a thatch roof. Then beautiful colors of fall were added with orange and red leaves, and pumpkins. The side troughs of the birdhouse were filled with pinecones, acorns, leaves and flameless candles to add a touch of light. These are all decorative items we purchased at a local craft store, and certainly there are a number of embellishments that can be used to achieve this autumn themed look.
We will begin decorating the next birdhouse in the series with a winter/holiday theme. Check back with us to see decorating progress as we begin the second in the series of four decorative birdhouses.
