Birch Plywood and RevolutionPly® Wine Rack – Part IV
February 20th, 2017
To complete our wine rack, we put two coats of a rich mahogany stain on all of the components before the final assembly. We discovered that a paint brush worked better than a cloth or foam brush for applying the stain, and it was painted on in smooth strokes going along the grain.
Once the stain was dry, the “x” shape shelving piece was placed inside the outer box as shelving for the wine bottles. The RevolutionPly® backing was then nailed to the backside of the rack locking in the shelving and giving the rack a beautiful finished appearance.
See the pictures below of our completed birch plywood and RevolutionPly® wine rack.
