Star Place Holders

December 29th, 2016

A crafty idea for making place holders for your holiday party is to cut and paint star shapes out of RevBead® plywood beadboard.  You will need a piece of RevBead® plywood beadboard, jigsaw, drill, star shape template, sand paper or block sander, craft paint, paint pen, and twine.

Trace and cut the star shapes and lightly sand the edges.  Drill a small hole in one star point, so twine can be tied on for hanging.  Paint each star with desired color and when dry, write the name of each guest using the paint pen.  Thread the twine through the hole and hang the place holder on stemware at each place setting.

After the party, these place holders can be party favors for your guests to take home and use as decorative ornaments.

See pictures below of our progress and of the completed table setting.
