3-D Picture Frame – Part III

April 13th, 2018

The next steps in completing the 3-D picture frame using cabinet grade and RevolutionPly® plywood are painting and preparing the frame for assembly.  We chose two shades of gray paint for our frame.  A light gray is used for the top component and a slightly darker shade is used for the bottom component.  The color variation further enhances the three dimensional look of the frame.

Using RevolutionPly® plywood, shapes are measured and cut to fit the spaces for the photographs and will act as a backing for each space.  Also the clear acrylic is measured and cut to be placed in each space to hold the photographs in place.

See pictures below of the progress on our cabinet grade and RevolutionPly® plywood 3-D frame.
