INDEPENDENCE DAY / COLONIAL FLAG PROJECT – PART 2

June 30th, 2016

Part II:

In preparation for the Fourth of July weekend, we have made great progress on our Colonial flag project this week.  After cutting our piece of RevBead® plywood beadboard panel to the desired size, we lightly sanded the edges and rounded the corners.  We then taped off our sections for the block that will hold the stars, as well as the lines for the red and white paint stripes.

See the below pictures of our progress and how we have begun the painting process.  It is important to paint each color allowing plenty of dry time, before beginning the next color.

Check back next week for Part III, our final segment to show the completed Colonial flag project.
