Family Tree Collage Frame – Part III

March 15th, 2018

In continuation of the family tree collage frame, we are now ready to add paint or stain.  We decided to use a dark wood stain for the front and a brown paint on the backside of our frame.  While the frame was drying, pieces of acrylic were measured and cut to fit the openings for photos.  RevolutionPly® was also cut for the openings as the backing to hold our photos in place.

Once the frame dried, it was time to assemble our photos and to secure the backing with swivel fasteners.  Two fasteners were installed on each photo opening to provide a snug fit.

See the pictures below of these steps in completing the family tree collage frame.  Check back to see how we finished our frame with leaf accents and photos of our special family.
