To complete our spring sign project, we attached the wooden flags using craft glue and then painted the letters of spring on each flag.  Since the flags are all different pastel colors, we used white paint for the letters.  You could certainly purchase peel and stick letters to apply to the flags instead of painting them.

The final step is attaching the twine to give the appearance of holding the letter flags.  The twine is attached with craft glue as well.  Adding the twine is another way of giving the sign the three dimensional look we wanted.

Once the glue is dry, the sign is ready to be displayed.  See the pictures below of the completed project.
